The new and improved Gym Press website.

Hi everyone

It has taken me months but its finally 90% complete. The new and hopefully improved The Gym Press website. The purpose behind this new website was to:

  • Improve the search ability of the website. As you will notice you can now search through the website. This will take a couple of days to completely configure but it should be 100% complete in a week or so. This will complete the website update.
  • Improve the appearance of the website, which lets be honest was desperately needed.
  • Add new functions – These are still to come, but i plan to start working on the The Gym Press Library projects soon (view page for details of planned projects) – The first project try and raise funds to purchase reprint permissions for popular articles. help and chip-in
  • Improve the Gym Press Library catalogue, so readers can find references easier (which will also improve as the search engines are completed..thanks to Google.)
  • The article submission guidelines have been updated and modified to encourage all coaches to contribute. Hopefully this will make things easier. Please give feedback on way to improve these, or that will help encourage contributors.
  • The Gym Press on Facebook - To improve the ability for coaches to Network through the addition of a Facebook page. Join The Gym Press Facebook and get involved.
  • Removed The Gym Press forum. There are enough really good gymnastics forums out there, there was no need for any more.

I would like to think that this new website will be more effective and functional. I do apologies that i have been relatively inactive with posting new material, but this project has taken a lot of effort and time to complete, which means that now i can focus on i writing more, and updating the website with new material.

Please spread the word about The Gym Press in your gym, and encourage coaches to contribute.
